Aquicomm is a company registered in the United Kingdom who specialises in installing wind turbines all over the world.
Small wind turbines are an ideal way to produce green electricity. They are know as microgeneration systems and can be installed on a farm, small holding, industrial units, offices, schools and many other applications. They range in size from 5KW to15KW with annual output of 6000KWh-35000KWh. The electricity they produce can be used to reduce your energy cost and any energy not used can be sold back to the national grid thus reducing the pay back time on the cost of the Turbine.
A small wind turbine is mounted on a pole which can be up to18m in height and the chosen location must allow sufficient space for the installation and maintenance of the turbine. You will also require sufficient space indoors for the mounting of the turbine control units.

The government has now announced details of it’s Feed-in Tariff (known as FITs) which are available since April 2010. These rates will be paid whether you use the power generated from your wind turbine or export it to the grid. If you decide to export some or all the power generated into the grid then a further 3p per KW/h will be paid on top of the FITs or you could try to get more then 3p and sell it on to the open market.
