Aquicomm is a company registered in the United Kingdom which specialises in the supply and installation of small wind turbines up to 50kW.
Small wind turbines are an ideal way to produce green electricity. They are know as micro-generation systems and can be installed on farms,small holdings, industrial units,golf clubs,offices,schools and many other applications. They range in size from 5kW to 50kW with annual outputs of 6000-150000kWh. The electricity they produce can be used to reduce your energy cost and any energy not used can be sold back to the national grid thus reducing the pay back time on the cost of the turbine.
The wind turbine is mounted on a single structure which can be up to 27m in height. The chosen location must allow for sufficient space for the installation and maintenance of the turbine. You will also require sufficient space indoors for the mounting of the turbine control units.

How do you earn money from a wind turbine?
The government runs a scheme known as the Feed in Tariff scheme(FITs). This pays a guaranteed amount for every kWh(unit) of green electricity your wind turbine generates(see table below). The amount paid depends on on the size of the turbine you have installed. Any excess power generated can be exported to the national grid and is subject to an additional guaranteed payment of 3p per unit. You can also expect a reduction of up to 50% on your electricity bill depending of course on the size of the turbine and your energy consumption.

We have made a considerable investment in wind monitors to ensure that we have an accurate record over a 3 month period or longer if necessary of the actual wind speeds. This enables Aquicomm to recommend the most suitable turbine for a particular location. Aquicomm operates as a freelance supplier as we are not tied to any single turbine manufacturer, enabling us to select the most suitable turbine for a particular site.
We have a free standing wind monitor that can be erected to a height of 12 meters.
Recordings are taken at regular intervals to accurately monitor the wind speed.
